ANN TRIDUUM Sunday, Monday and Tuesday July 24, 25, 26 How do we experience God's grace in our own lives? Grace in the Family - Grace can be found in the everyday, even while having fun. On Sunday, at 6:00 PM students from Confirmation Preparation will start the evening with a short play depicting grace from an unexpected source. Then, Bill Wood, a well known and respected storyteller, will delight us with tales that invite young and old alike into a greater understanding of ourselves and others, and the world we share. The Fullness of Grace - On Tuesday evening, we'll celebrate Mass at 7:00, followed by cookies and juice on the lawn. All Triduum events will be held in St. Ann Chapel. ST. ANN & ST. JOACHIM - As we meditate on the lives of St. Ann and St. Joachim, we are reminded of the responsibility of parents and children to love each other and lead each other to holiness. OCCASIONAL USHERS - A few times each year, primarily Christmas and Easter, we put out a call for one-time help to assist our regular cadre of Ministers of Hospitality. Over the years our parishioners have generously responded with the offer of their time. If you have done this in the past, or would like to in the future, we invite you to sign up to be an Occasional Usher. Signing up will only mean that you are willing to be on the list of folks to be called just for a special event like Christmas or Easter. Look for information on this new ministry in the updated Talent Opportunities Book coming out in the Fall. EVENING PRAYER LEADERS WANTED - Last Fall we added the Liturgy of the Hours (and sometimes Benediction) to our regular Wednesday devotions. The simple format requires a leader and a reader. If you would like to be reader or leader, you must be a practicing Catholic, with a good speaking voice. Interested? Call Liz Deal at 610-983-3751. Look for information on this new ministry in the fall. STEWARDSHIP - "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field, which a person finds and hides again, and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." Matthew 13:44 A steward is both a learner and a companion of Jesus Christ, as well as one open to the movement of the Holy Spirit towards a gracious generosity of heart. The authentic steward regards all he or she is and possesses as gifts and blessings and realizes the need to share those gifts and blessings with others for the sake of the kingdom of God. VOLUNTEER(S) NEEDED - Aid for Friends, a program which provides free home cooked meals to the homebound, is in need of a volunteer or two to go out to see potential clients in this area. I am doing very well and thank God I am back here among you. While I was away recuperating you were very much remembered in prayer and gratitude. May God's many graces and blessings always be yours. Let us continue to pray for one another. Gratefully in Jesus, Sr. Marie Rose
